Exception of type
Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportRendering.ReportRenderingException was
thrown.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Hi:
I have been getting this error when i try to export to excel, exporting to
other formats works fine. My report has a matrix and a table. when i remove
the matrix the report exports fine to excel. By bringing back the matrix
exporting to excel error out. Am I missing somethng here.
Thanksoke so tht was a known bug in matrix. I removed the subtotals, and it exports
fine. Wierd thing is even though I removed the subtotals, and it doesnt show
when I see the report, but when I export to excel i am able to see the
subtotals as well. Weird !!!

when i include the subtotal for group 2 (inner group) it exports fine. The
problem occurs when I include the subtotal for the first row group
(outermost). Any workaorund to get the totals, and also export fine.
Thanks
