Are SQL Server 2000 and 2005 compatible with .NET Framework? In case they
are, can I have a link or maybe a whitepaper which explains the compatiblity
between both of them.
Thanks much
What do you mean by 'compatible'? .NET 2.0 is a requirement for SQL 2005
and will be installed during setup if it isn't already installed. SQL
Server 2000 does not use the .NET framework so any version of .NET can be
installed on a SQL 2000 server. You can have side-by-side installations of
the different versions of the .NET framework without affecting SQL Server.
Hope this helps.
